Noonan's is a dive bar that is located in Aurora, Colorado. They have great happy hour, good drinks, and awesome vibes. I hate that I'm the type of person know who describes things as “good vibes” or whatever but I don't know how to describe it without using that phrasing. Personally, I think it's located in a great spot, next to apartments, some professional buildings, and close to the highway. It's located on a golf course but don't let that fool you. Many of the regulars are bikers or someone from the professional buildings just getting off work and trying to burn off some steam.
They have great happy hour. Each day is something a little different and they offer new deals each week. They have a karaoke night and trivia night and they host big events like birthday parties and things like that. Their food is also pretty good for being a bar. They have a few different staple items that are great, they have TVs that cover the walls and great music.
A few coworkers and I used to go 3 or 4 times a week to blow off steam from our call center jobs. We always sat in the same booth and always got a warm welcome from the staff. It represents a certain time of my life when I was struggling and found a piece in the comfort of the bar and how familiar and welcoming it was. Most of the time I didn't drink but it's the only bar in town that had my favorite beer on draft. So when I did drink, it was a nice way to treat myself.
