What: Craft Beer
Overall experience: 10/10
I love it here. Peak View Brewing Co is located in Centennial, Colorado and it is the perfect place to drink beer and play games on a slow Saturday. The bar is right off the highway and busy street. It seems a little small on the outside but the way that they have decorated/designed the space makes the space feel open. As soon as you walk in, you can see all the beer that they offer on tap. It was fun to see the different barrels of beer rather than just metal and tile walls. They used the barrels as decoration and it really helped open the space a bit.
They also had what I can only describe as glass garage doors. The concept of a garage door moving up to allow the inside and outside to mix was intertwined into the design of this bar which I feel was vital for their space. It helped connect the outside patio with the inside seats, the games that were offered, and even easier access to the food trucks that rotated throughout the week.
They had a select number of beers, which showed me the flavor profile and technique that they use. They really focused on what they can do. Their flavors were delicious. Though their variety was limited, they did have a few different things and flavors that matched the weather and staples of the Colorado Craft Beer scene. They also partnered with local food trucks around the city and have a rotation of food that pair well with the beers.
During my experience, I was able to try a few new different beers and the food truck that was available was from Noodle and Co. I've heard of this place but I never tried it. I thought it was something like special ramen but it has a wide variety of different kinds of noodles. I got something called the BBQ mac and cheese. While I was there, they were also playing large beer pong in the parking lot. (Large beer pong is what I call buckets of water as the beer and a soccer ball being used as the ping pong ball). It was a super nice day out with a breeze so the garage door/windows were open letting the breeze flow in.
It was one of the most relaxing bars I've been to in Colorado. I definitely recommend this place for a first date, catching up with friends, or a nice relaxing weekend day to hang out with friends.
